Guide

Configuration

Set up providers, import or create zones, and manage records through the control plane.

1

Adding a provider

Before you can manage zones, connect your cloud DNS providers so DNS Fabric can read and write records on your behalf.

  1. Navigate to the Providers section in the dashboard.
  2. Click Add Provider.
  3. Select your provider type (for example AWS, Google, or Azure).
  4. Enter the required credentials (API keys, service account JSON, and so on).
  5. Click Save. DNS Fabric verifies the connection immediately.
2

Managing zones

Once a provider is added, import existing zones or create new ones.

Importing zones

DNS Fabric can discover zones from connected providers. Open the Zones page and use Sync to pull existing domains.

Creating a zone

Use Create Zone, enter the domain, and choose the provider or HA configuration your workspace supports.

3

Managing records

Open any zone to view and edit records. DNS Fabric standardizes record management across providers.

  • Add record

Choose the type (A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, and so on) and enter values in the editor.

  • Bulk operations

Select multiple records to delete or adjust TTL in bulk where supported.

  • Audit visibility

Use audit logs to review record changes and operator activity after each update.
